Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing and executing security management plans, creating requirement documents, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create high-level design documents, interface control design documents, and detailed software requirements and specifications.
2. Act as the primary technical interface to customers throughout the project life cycle and serve as a technical liaison with other departments.
3. Interface with internal customers and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and system integration.
4. Develop and execute security management plans, commissioning plans, and onsite lead for commissioning and acceptance testing.
5. Contribute to the identification and resolution of interfaces with main subsystems and security systems.
6. Ensure the identification, management, and fulfillment of contractual requirements and customer requests.
7. Analyze customer-supplied system specifications, decomposing statements into software requirements.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation based on contractual requirements.
9. Provide local/remote technical support and troubleshooting during commissioning and operation as needed.
10. Develop customer training and handoff material to internal and external O&M teams.
11. Drive continuous improvement in developing and capturing technical problem-solving knowledge to enable other organizations to resolve customer problems effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or similar
* Minimum 5 years of Cybersecurity System Engineering expertise
* Relevant Cybersecurity qualifications/certifications
* Knowledge and experience gained in rail, oil & gas, power, aero, or the automotive industry sectors would be highly beneficial
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and with multiple key stakeholders
