The Opportunity

Fantastic opportunity to start your career as a new graduate or make a change in your career to become a rehab consultant and facilitate outcomes within occupational rehab.

Full induction, training and a buddy system are provided to set you up for success, including weekly and monthly team meetings to develop your exposure to psychometric assessments and interventions.

In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological injury, creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans that aim to gradually return your clients back to work.

You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients and influence stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Looking After a Client Portfolio, Your Day Will Include
* Completing initial psychological assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of an injured worker's biopsychosocial barriers
* Providing a tailored intervention approach to recovery and developing appropriate return‐to‐work plans
* Conducting vocational assessments, rehabilitation and vocational counselling, and motivational interviewing techniques
* Providing support through recommendations for community assistance or additional support through the insurer
* Working within a multi‐disciplinary team to manage stakeholders and support the recovery of an injured worker
* Documenting case notes per reporting and compliance requirements, applying clinical judgement to guide clients to a safe return‐to‐work goal

About You
* General registration with AHPRA or ASORC
* Tertiary degree in Psychology (Hons) or Masters in Psychology
* Car and valid driver's licence
* Police check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
* Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
