What You'll Be Doing
This is a diverse all-rounder role covering everything from first impressions to project handovers:
* The Face of the Business: Greet visitors with a smile, manage the phones, and ensure our reception and boardroom areas are always welcoming and tidy.
* Smooth Operations: Manage mail, office supplies, and team meeting minutes while keeping our office systems running like clockwork.
* Financial Support: Handle accounts payable by processing invoices into Xero and assisting with monthly financial reporting.
* Construction Admin: Setting up new job folders, managing subcontractor compliance/packs, and compiling those exciting Handover Packs for our clients.
* Client Connection: Keep our customers updated weekly and manage job maintenance tasks to ensure the G.J. journey is seamless even after move-in.
* Marketing Flair: Help us grow by implementing and reviewing local marketing and social media campaigns.
What You'll Bring
* Administrative Experience: You must have previous experience in an administrative or office-based role. You know your way around an office and understand how to manage competing priorities.
* Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the construction or building industry is highly desired but not essential, we will provide the training if you have the right admin foundation.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Xero and the ability to learn internal construction software quickly.
* Communication Pro: Excellent phone manner and the ability to build rapport with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, filing, and document management.
