Mechanical Engineering Technician
As a result of our ongoing growth and success, Crossmuller is seeking an experienced, full-time Mechanical Engineering Technician.

Task & Responsibilities
As Mechanical Engineering Technician, your role includes, among others, the following:
* Documentation of mechanical testing data such as alignments, drawing revisions, specifications and engineering/process changes.
* Responsible for installing and assembling components according to specifications.
* Fabricate and/or modify parts using specialised tools and equipment.
* Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in proper working condition and not abused.
* Completion of daily mechanical maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan.
* Participate in special projects whenever required.
* Interface closely with the digital team to ensure that activities are undertaken in the proper manner according to specifications.
* Troubleshoot machine components to determine causes of failures when required, including gathering of failure evidence for later analysis.
* Ensure all work orders are completed properly to a consistent high quality.
* Ensure that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state.
* Read and analyse blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
* Take accurate measurements and mark components for installation.
* Ensure quality control and inspect finished products.
* Collaborate with team members in resolving issues.
* Adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
Qualification & Experience
* A relevant diploma or higher qualification and at least one year of relevant work experience or at least three years of relevant work experience.
* Proven capacity to manage workloads and complete tasks within required timeframes.
* Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
