**About the Mental Health Program**
Monash Health Mental Health Program provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs - a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.
Psychology & Specialist Services (PsySS) in the mental health program runs a number of programs across Monash Health including the Wellness and Recovery Centre. WRC is a specialist eating disorder service offering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and evidence based treatment to individuals affected by anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, and other specified eating disorder (OSFD).
Services include:
- Adults (18-65yo) Inpatient treatment
- Adults (18-65yo) Outpatient treatment
- Day Program (12-24yo)
- Adolescent Inpatient treatment
**About The Role**
The Mental Health Clinician position is a flexible, 7 day rostered position with 2 shifts between 7am and 9:00pm. This is a permanent 0.4EFT position.
The Mental Health Clinician on the Adolescent (Eating Disorders) Inpatient Unit will be responsible for providing high quality mental health care to consumers (and their carers) experiencing the acute phase of their Eating Disorder.
This care will be provided within an evidence based specialized eating disorder framework.
The Mental Health Clinician has an integral role to play in supporting the daily operation of the inpatient service and will work closely with the WRC operational and clinical leads, as well as the Nurse Unit Manager to achieve this.
Training, supervision and support will be provided for this role.
**What you need**:
- Current registration with AHPRA (if appropriate)
- Working with Children's Check
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in mental health
- Proven significant clinical experience
- Australian working rights
