New Delhi, India

About You

We can’t wait for you to join our team and share your experience as a Senior Hydrologist and bring your skills and experience to the team. You will bring your ability to lead project teams for a range of national and international clients, by providing advanced technical advice.

From a practical perspective your skills and experience might include:

o Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering, science or hydrology as required for admission as a member of Engineers Australia or equivalent, and 7–15 years of relevant post‑graduation experience
o Australian hydrological and hydraulic practices including current design guidelines and standards.
o Hydrological modelling, statistical modelling, design flood modelling and long‑term flow simulations.
o Programming skills in R or Python or other relevant languages.
o Consulting and project management.


About the Role

As a Senior Hydrologist, you’ll work to deliver and manage a broad range of hydrological projects related to natural systems, storages, spillways, dams, weirs, hydroelectric power schemes, and renewable energy infrastructure.

You will work collaboratively with other members of the team to grow the business through efficient and effective project delivery whilst maintaining a focus on quality, innovation, training, and the use of new methodologies that adds value to our clients.

Being a division of renewable energy provider, Hydro Tasmania, Entura brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing asset owners participating in the energy transition when engaging with in the power networks and generation sectors.

As a key member of the Transmission Lines team, you will focus on delivering hands‑on structural / civil engineering design solutions and assessments on clients’ transmission tower and foundation assets. You will also contribute towards project management, bids / proposals, and client relationship management activities aligned with your current skills or career development aspirations.

This role can be performed from any location in Australia. There is the option for a remote / work from home arrangement. Alternatively, Entura has offices in Melbourne and Hobart (assistance can be provided for those looking to relocate).

Your technical depth in the analysis / design of electricity transmission structures has ideally been proven in a consulting or engineering services / contracting environment. Individuals with purely asset owner side experience who can transition into the dynamics of a consulting firm will also be considered. With a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), you are proficient in computer design packages (PLS Tower, PLS Pole etc.) and have strong knowledge of relevant engineering standards.

Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)

This role can be worked part‑time or full‑time.

We can’t wait for you to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer and bring your fresh perspective to the team.

o 7+ years’ experience.
o Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
o Practical experience of 7+ years, predominantly in the space of grid connections, Generator Performance Standards (GPS) compliance assessments, power system studies.
o Undertaken testing either on site or virtually (e.g. via Teams screenshare) desirable but not essential.
o Ideally CPEng, RPEQ, RPEV credentials
o Able to diagnose and troubleshoot independently (both in software PSSE, PSCAD, Python, etc as well as technical issues, i.e. understand the underlying real world physics).
o Modelling software experience using:
+ PSSE
+ PSCAD essential
+ Powerfactory
+ SINCAL highly desired
+ Python and Matlab highly desired

* Principal Electrical Engineer - SCADA - Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide

As Entura continues to grow our teams to support our exciting pipeline of projects, we are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – SCADA to join our Protection and Test Services team.

In this senior leadership role, you'll apply your technical expertise to deliver high‑impact projects, guide innovation, and mentor the next generation of engineers. You'll lead the delivery of complex projects involving control centres, communication networks, generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

o Leading SCADA system projects, design and configuration
o Providing expert engineering advice on regulatory compliance, system integration, and emerging technologies
o Acting as a technical lead on major bids and proposals, supporting business development and client engagement
o Managing SCADA‑related systems and documentation including software versions, virtual machines, testing equipment, and client‑specific standards
o Contributing to financial planning and project management through estimates, budgets, and reporting.

Role can be worked from Hobart, Melbourne or Adelaide.

What you’ll bring:

o Postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or related field), and RPEQ or RPEV accreditation
o Significant experience in SCADA systems across renewable energy, substations, and grid infrastructure
o Proficiency in multi‑vendor SCADA configurations, RTUs, HMIs, and relevant communication protocols
o Understanding of the Australian electricity industry and regulatory requirements
o A track record of managing risk, maintaining safety standards, and delivering quality outcomes
o Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
o Experience with cyber security frameworks (AESCSF, ISA/IEC 62443) and SCADA integration with AEMO systems
o Testing, commissioning, and estimating experience
o Project management certification or demonstrated high‑level project delivery capability.
