About the Role:
You'll oversee multiple audit engagements, provide technical expertise, and build strong client relationships as an experienced Lead Audit Manager. You'll lead projects, manage teams, and deliver high-quality audit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Expertise: Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues;
* Financial Statement Review: Review financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards and prepare reports and opinions;
* Audit Work Review: Perform reviews of audit work;
* Client Relationship Building: Summarise key areas of the engagement for partners;
* Project Management: Conduct multiple audit engagements simultaneously;
* Team Leadership: Assist with management and co-ordination of the audit team, including training, mentoring and methodology compliance;
* Resource Planning: Monitor staffing requirements and future resource planning issues;
* Business Development: Assist partners and managers in business development and marketing activities;
About You:
You're a seasoned audit professional with a passion for delivering quality outcomes and building strong client relationships. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy mentoring others, and are ready to take on new challenges.
Requirements:
* 6–8 years' audit experience, ideally with team leadership exposure;
* CA qualification (or equivalent) and degree in Business/Commerce (Accounting major);
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking;
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
* Decision-Making Abilities: Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
* Industry Knowledge: Sound knowledge of the Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards;
