You will do this in a safe, structured custodial environment with strong team support.nYou will:nntrain and supervise young people in industries, vocational training and work programsncoach young people through daily routines, teamwork and positive behaviour.nrole-model respectful relationships and pro-social behaviournmaintain safety through searches, supervision and dynamic risk assessment.nnOur Industries team work on rostered shifts which will include some nights and weekends.nAbout younWe're looking for people with experience in horticulture, hospitality or warehousing to grow Malmsbury as a centre for education, enabling young people to find meaningful work when they return to the community. You must hold, or be willing to obtain, required clearances before starting. This includes a Working with Children Check and first aid qualification. You will also complete a fully funded Certificate IV in Youth Justice as part of your role.nYou should also have:nnrelevant industry or trade experience, with robust safety knowledgenthe ability to teach safe use of tools, machinery and equipmentnconfidence using computer systems for records and reportingna collaborative approach and respect for diverse backgrounds.nnTo learn more about this role, please read the position description.
