We are seeking a Payroll Officer (2 days per week) to join our finance team based at head office in Wayville. Annual salary will be commensurate with hours worked.
About the role
* End to end processing of weekly payroll
* Calculate, monitor and report on Return To Work payments
* Maintain employee database
* Respond to payroll queries and report and resolve any issues
* Support onboarding and offboarding of employees
* Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations as required
* Support system updates and improvements
* Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll requirements
What we are looking for
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, award interpretation and best practices
* Proficient in the use of payroll software (experience with Tanda advantageous) and Microsoft suite
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
