Join the highly respected team at Shaddicks Lawyers' Richmond office in this full-time role. As a Family Law Solicitor, you will provide expert legal advice to clients navigating complex family law matters.
What you'll be doing
- Advise clients on a wide range of family law issues, including divorce, child custody, property settlements and more
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations with the opposing party
- Prepare and file all necessary legal documentation, including applications, affidavits and court briefs
- Conduct legal research and provide in-depth analysis to support your client's case
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic and personalised service
What we're looking for
- Admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales with 2+ years' experience in family law
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert legal advice and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
