Job Description
The role oversees corporate and internal communications and social media platforms for Tattarang.
- Oversee the creation and execution of the internal communication and branded content for Tattarang.
- Oversee development, implementation and ongoing management of Tattarang brand and collateral in conjunction with the Creative Manager and Director of Communications.
- Create value and brand aligned content for internal communications channels: intranet, electronic mail outs (Campaign Monitor), Teams (instant messaging), and Groupwide Communication with Tattarang’s eight wholly owned Portfolio Companies.
- Manage and deliver internal events, workshops and activities across the organisation.
- Generate and implement ideas to ensure that all employees feel connected to our offices across Perth and Sydney and build our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Offer internal communications support for crisis communications and major announcements.
- Oversee the development and delivery of Tattarang and Groupwide internal newsletters.
- Support the Tattarang leadership team with internal announcements and communications.
- Build strong relationships with teams and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to create an engaged social audience for Tattarang, including content for the Group CEO.
- Identify, source and develop content from across Tattarang and Portfolio Companies for internal and social media use.
- Schedule approved content across social media platforms.
- Grow social audiences and maximise engagement. Monitor social trends and stay abreast of new platforms and best practice.
- Develop and manage a pool of approved freelancers across photography, videography, video editing and motion graphics, in conjunction with the Communications and Events Coordinator.
- Manage Tattarang and Tenmile's external web agency - including updates to web content and news pages where required.
- People management of 1 direct report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or an equivalent discipline.
- To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in communications – with a specialised focus on internal communications, written materials and the development of newsletters, brochures and other collateral.
- You will be adept at identifying, developing, and management of communications materials fit for business requirements.
- Public relations experience in a commercial environment is preferred.
- Sound administrative skills including time management, correspondence, briefing, and report writing, and the ability to use computing equipment and software relevant to this position.
- Experience in developing and executing social media strategy.
- Experience with media monitoring and social media management software is desirable.
