You'll join a dedicated team working in a safe, inclusive environment — where both staff and the community can thrive.The roleWe are currently seeking two (2) highly motivated full-time Senior Gym Instructors to join the newly redeveloped North Sydney Olympic Pool team.
The successful applicants will assist in coordinating and managing frontline staff and be leaders of the gym and group exercise studios, where creating an engaged community is as important as offering a premium service and facility.

Our goal is to ensure the revitalised North Sydney Olympic Pool meets these same high standards—offering an outstanding facility where the customer experience is valued just as highly as the breathtaking views.Essential CriteriaExperienced fitness professional with a minimum Cert 4 in Fitness Current First Aid and CPR certificatesPrevious experience leading teamsHigh level communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skillsExtensive knowledge of Work Health and Safety and quality and environmental requirements relating to the fitness industry.Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and productively within an organization and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Be able to satisfy the requirements of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act **** and Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulations **** and provide a current NSW Working with Children Clearance; and adhere to Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Desirable CriteriaGroup Exercise Qualifications Experience running a successful Personal Training businessExperience conducting small group training classesFamiliarity with Microsoft Suite, as well as specific gym software packages and point of sales systemsFlexibility to work across a seven (7) days week operation with morning shifts starting from 5.30am and closing shifts finishing at 9.30pm Experience and knowledge of Local Government practices, regulations and policiesVaccinated against COVID-19Why work at NSC?
