Phoenix Containers is a leading sea container sales, hire, modification and storage company located in Wattleup.
Key Responsibilities
* Modification: Collaborate with the modification team to customise sea containers according to client requirements, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
* Welding and Fabrication: Perform high-quality welding and fabrication tasks on sea containers to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
* Repairs: Conduct repairs on damaged containers, applying welding expertise to restore structural integrity and functionality.
* Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to verify that it meets the required quality standards and specifications.
* Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and successful job completion.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator (previous container experience is a plus).
* Ability to interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
