About this role
An Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Mercy Health oversees the daily operations of a nursing unit, including staff supervision, patient care coordination, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. They collaborate with nurse unit managers and healthcare teams to maintain high-quality patient care standards, resolve issues, and support the overall functioning of the unit.
* This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join the Intensive Care senior nursing Management Team.
* We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Nurse for the Associate Nurse Unit Manager Role to assist the NUM in the clinical leadership of the unit.
* We provide a rotating roster including day, night and weekend shifts.

* Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

* The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
* Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Post graduate qualification in Critical Care nursing.
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in Intensive Care Nursing.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
