Boilermaker – Dubbo
Join our team in Dubbo as a Boilermaker. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, executing plans, and ensuring a safety-first approach to everything you do. Our successful candidates will have a strong attention to detail, be reliable, and work with a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
* Execute fabrication plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, GMAW, FCAW (multiple wire applications).
* Demonstrate safety-focused practices in all tasks.
Qualifications
* Cert III in Engineering Fabrication (Australian Trade recognised).
* Extensive experience in air arc gouging, lancing and OXY/thermal processes: cutting, heating and thermal lancing.
* Ability to interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings and standards.
* Experience with mobile plant repairs is highly regarded.
* Ability to pass AS weld tests for the above techniques.
* Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements and a safety-focused mindset.
Remuneration & Benefits
* Roster: Monday–Friday day shift.
* Annual earnings from $140,000 plus overtime and super (rates above are a guide; compensation assessed based on competencies and experience).
