Glide, a leading manufacturer of powered and manual wheelchairs, is seeking a Production Welder to join our Production team. We are seeking a team player with a strong commitment to quality, safety and achieving high levels of productivity.
This role is offered on full time basis. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.00pm. Award rates apply. Onsite parking is available.

Experience
* Familiar with MIG, TIG and TIG Pulse welding machines on light gauge materials such as mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel
* Minimum 1+ experience within a small team manufacturing/ production environment is required
Qualifications:
* Certificate II or III in Engineering - Production Technology or
* Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or
* Other Welding Qualifications
Tickets and Licenses Required:
* Driver's License and reliable vehicle
* National Police Clearance (within last 6 months at own cost)
* Must have full Australian working rights
Key responsibilities
* Execute welding operations to support the assembly and production of the final product, ensuring high-quality workmanship
* Ensure quality, safety and compliance standards are met
* Always ensure to meet production deadlines and customer requirements
* Be flexible in undertaking other tasks as required by the role, based on skills, training, and the needs of the organisation
* Ability to work independently as a part of a small team
* Strong attention to detail
* Good work ethic and ability to stay focused
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
