Animal Attendant (Pet Boarding)

The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours between 7am-6pm, Monday through Sunday, with the ability to adapt to various shifts and schedules. Availability during school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is required.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Provision of food and water for pets in care
* Health checks and general animal husbandry
* Supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviour to ensure wellbeing and safety
* Providing enrichment through play and scheduled activities
* Regular cleaning and maintenance of the facility to ensure hygiene and safety
* Building rapport with pet owners through feedback and transparency
* Creating and sharing media content such as videos and photos for pet owners
* Daily administrative tasks, including answering enquiries via email and phone, record keeping, and data entry in booking systems
Key requirements:
* Attending a lawful unpaid work trial shift (within Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)
* Availability on weekends and during school holiday periods
* Driven with a strong work ethic, as the role can be physically demanding
* Attentive with great attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to follow routines, policies, and procedures
* Previous experience working with animals is preferred
