As part of this contract, Serco partners with Bupa to deliver defence-ready clinical and support staff to 50+ on-base locations nationally. This ensures ADF personnel have access to quality medical care at their respective bases.

The Role
">
In this full-time physiotherapist position, you will work Monday to Friday from 0730 to 1600. Your typical day will involve treating varied musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative cases, loading injuries, and pelvic health. You will help members progress towards deployment and ADF training exercises.

As the ideal applicant, you will:

* Have access to a fully equipped gym to enhance member rehabilitation.
* Work with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries focusing on functional rehabilitation and returning members to their work and exercise goals.
* Work with an active population motivated to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Have dedicated time for administrative tasks each day.
* Work in a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, doctors, psychologists, and rehabilitation consultants.
* Improve your understanding of job roles and requirements of the Defence Force by working closely with ADF members.

About The Health Centre
">
Lavarack Health Centre is located at Lavarack Barracks, the largest Army base in Australia. It includes facilities to undertake mission rehearsal exercises prior to deployment. The centre provides primary medical, underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care to approximately 8000 members. It also operates a 24/7 inpatient low dependency ward.

About You
">
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
">
* At least 2 years' part-time or full-time equivalent post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years.
* A current, unconditional registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
* Recent engagement in Continuing Professional Development activities aligned with AHPRA guidelines.
* A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009).
* Membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (preferred).
* Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance.
