Coordinator Physiotherapy - Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Technology
HSO Level P3 $135,972 - $140,644 per annum
This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment, for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Position Profile: We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to work in a specialist role, Coordinator Physiotherapy - Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Technology, as part of a multidisciplinary team to:
- Lead innovative contemporary evidence-based care in rehabilitation robotics within the Kids Rehab WA service.
- Act as a Physiotherapy clinical consultant/resource to Physiotherapists and other health professionals related to this clinical specialty within the state.
- Plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate physiotherapy services and patient outcomes using specialised physiotherapy clinical practice skills in Paediatric Rehabilitation and Technologies.
- Supervise, coordinate and manage performance of physiotherapy staff, support staff and students in the department/clinical area.
- Practice as a Specialist Physiotherapist and ensure practice is in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, and Registration Standards, and Children and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) policies and guidelines.

Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and eligible for registration by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated extensive relevant knowledge, skills and clinical experience in rehabilitation and robotic technologies, at a specialised level of practice including assessment, treatment and evaluation of paediatric conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate physiotherapy services within a defined area of practice.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, coordination and effective staff supervision and training/education within a complex clinical environment including clinical risk and safety assessment.
- Demonstrated commitment/involvement in postgraduate career development, quality improvement activities and research relating to this clinical field.
- Demonstrated time management, administrative and organisational skills when planning, providing and monitoring Physiotherapy services within a designated caseload.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication skills, time management skills and ability to work constructively within a complex clinical environment.
- Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
- Completion of a postgraduate qualification in a relevant area.
- Demonstrated analytical and clinical research skills.
