In Australia & New Zealand, we operate in multiple products including coca, dairy, and almonds.The Maintenance Controller vacancy in Menegazzo Orchard, near Haysdale in Victoria offers suitably qualified internal and external candidates an outstanding opportunity for career progression.The Maintenance Controller role supports the Orchard Manager in ensuring the orchard and harvest equipment is available at all times for the orchard operation. This includes the servicing, maintenance and repair of equipment per servicing and operational requirements.Reporting to the Orchard Manager you will have the autonomy to:Assist the Orchard Manager in the planning, monitoring and managing of key deliverables by achieving the long-term sustainability of orchard equipment.Liaise with contractors to ensure timelines and scoped works are conducted within the planned maintenance programs in a safe environmentAssist the management team with the development of master equipment matrix and recording of individual equipment activitiesSupport and participate in the development of a team culture within Olam Almond OrchardsThis is a ‘hands on’ role for someone who is trade qualified or has relevant experience and has an output focus, who is able to think on their feet, troubleshoot and lead the team.To be considered for an interview you will have small team management experience, an understanding of agricultural operations and reasonable computer skills.
