Casual Sales Assistants Job Opportunity
Echuca, Deniliquin and Shepparton Salvos Stores are looking for talented sales assistants who love retail, love a challenge, and love making a difference. As a sales assistant, you will provide an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers, and community members.
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to work well as part of a team, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the store manager with day-to-day operations. You will assist with:
• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
• Collecting, sorting and pricing donations in store;
• Assisting in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation;
• Providing exceptional customer service;
• Displaying stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure;
• Following Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures;
• Demonstrating The Salvation Army core values in all work-related activities;
• Heavy lifting & manual handling: Move, lift, and arrange stock, including furniture and large donations.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in retail sales is not essential, but passion and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a complex and rewarding retail environment are a must;
• High-energy, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal skills, solid technical skills, and flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends;
• Prepared to work across various locations in the retail area;
• Ability to demonstrate TSA core values in all work-related activities;
• Comfortable aligning to The Salvation Army Mission and Values to positively support and impact the lives of others through your career contribution.
