About The Sydney Biomedical Accelerator (SBA)
The SBA is a partnership between the University of Sydney, Sydney Local Health District and the NSW Government, working to translate biomedical discoveries into better health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Secure philanthropic investment to accelerate medical discoveries and advancements.
* Develop and nurture relationships with high-net-worth individuals, industry partners, family offices, trusts and foundations, and alumni and donors of the University of Sydney.
* Create compelling proposals and cases for support that align with prospective donors' interests.
* Collaborate with the advancement team to deliver on fundraising goals and report impact to stakeholders.
* Maintain data confidentiality and integrity throughout all fundraising activities.
Candidate Profile
* Natural relationship builder with excellent listening and written communication skills.
* Highly developed emotional intelligence, self-aware and capable of interacting with diverse cultures.
* Strong work ethic, proactive and a high-achiever driven by success.
* Experience in fundraising with a track record of cultivating high-value relationships.
* Passionate about biomedical, healthcare or medical research sectors.
* Demonstrable alignment with the University's values of trust, accountability and excellence.

Eligibility
Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
