About the Role
We have an opportunity for a motivated Integration Consultant to join our health integration team in Melbourne on a full-time basis. This role is well suited to someone early in their career who is looking to build their expertise in health system integration within a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop enterprise application integration and service-oriented architecture solutions using Rhapsody and Mirth within the health sector.
* Test and analyse integration platforms, identifying and resolving errors as required.
* Perform data extraction and data queries.
* Support current implementations and projects, including after-hours and on-call support.
* Collaborate with and support other team members.
* Contribute to scoping and estimating new interface development projects.
Position Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience working with HL7 and related technologies, e.g. FHIR and RESTful APIs, or strong foundational knowledge in these areas.
* Exposure to application integration concepts, including requirements gathering, solution design and implementation.
* Experience or familiarity with a health integration engine such as Mirth or Rhapsody.
* Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL databases and SQL programming is advantageous.
* An interest in hospital or clinical systems and health sector ICT environments.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills, with a focus on quality and outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
