About the Home
Located in Heathfield in the centre of the picturesque Adelaide Hills, Hillside Aged Care is nestled amongst the tall trees and natural bushland providing peace, tranquillity, only 15km from the City of Adelaide.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a
Permanent Part Time
basis.
As part of our hospitality team, Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our homes.
You will need to be available for Every Wednesday 0730-1500pm.
Guaranteed Total of 14 hours fortnight minimum.
The Role
Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and always maintained at a high standard.
Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
Cleaning bathroom facilities.
Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
To be successful, you will have
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Complete a NDIS workers check/ Police Clearance
Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
