Job Description
The ENMP will deliver updates to operational (mission-critical) and corporate networks that will ensure existing systems remain connected to deliver safe, efficient and effective Air Navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting services.
This organisation has commenced a multi-year program of work to modernise its network to enable a strategic change agenda.
Over the next few years, ENMP will undertake an ambitious transformation program which will transition to a new IP network with new terrestrial, microwave and satellite components, and move to a managed service provider / vendor operated model.
As ENMP Training Manager, you will work with implementation partners, Business Change Managers and other programme team members to develop and deliver a sound training strategy for a multifaceted and interdependent transformational change that will see people ready and equipped for the change to do their job from day one.
You will play a key role in ensuring adoption, resistance management and readiness is managed.
You will lead and identify training and knowledge requirements, work with others to develop an integrated training plan and curriculum, and oversee training development and delivery.
You will ensure that training and knowledge transfer is executed successfully and hand over the training to ensure sustainability.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and strategic advice to Program Managers in the context of adult education and training within frameworks.
Develop, lead, and deliver training strategies to set the Organisation and Program/Project up for success, and that are aligned with the culture.
Develop and maintain partnerships with operational training areas and subject matter experts to influence within the value chain.
Work collaboratively with training, communications and human factors colleagues to ensure people are fully aware and equipped to transition to new ways of working with minimal disruption.
Maintain an effective working relationship with the Program team.
Work closely with the Business Change Manager and business as usual teams to embed training and sustain change benefits.
Hand over training materials, roles, and curriculum to ensure the change is well embedded.
Facilitate and coach for problem solving and resolving training issues.
Actively promote and drive change using broad influencing skills to overcome barriers and gain support.
Actively support and contribute to the broader Change Community of Practice.
Adhere to change management and training management success measures.
Provide reporting and updates to Steering Committee, Program, Enterprise Change.
Lead training planning and processes at the Project, Program and Portfolio level, ensuring key milestones are set and achieved.
Key Skills and Experience Required
Critically assess the training and knowledge transfer requirements for each impacted business unit or team.
Deliver and apply a plan for training and knowledge transfer including principles, techniques and tools.
Think outside the box and challenge the status quo to achieve better outcomes.
Must hold TAE***** Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
Planning and Project Management capability.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Understanding and experience applying training frameworks in agile, waterfall and hybrid settings.

Additional Information (Casual Loading)
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
This excludes permanent and fixed-term roles.
