About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Support Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting tradespeople with their tasks, cutting materials to required specifications, and maintaining the appearance of rug and carpet displays.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting Tradespeople: Provide support to tradespeople with their tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
2. Material Cutting: Cut materials to required specifications, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
3. Goods Receipt and Dispatch: Receive and dispatch goods in a timely manner, managing inventory levels effectively.
4. Rug and Carpet Displays: Maintain the appearance of rug and carpet displays, ensuring they are tidy and well-presented at all times.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment in the storeroom, ensuring it remains in good working order.
Work Arrangements:
The Warehouse Support Specialist will work 38 hours per week, often in 9-hour days, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturday work as required.
