The Role
Randstad is currently recruiting for Council Asset Care Team Members / Cleaners for an immediate start within a local government environment. This is a hands‐on, outdoor-focused role dedicated to ensuring community assets and civil infrastructure are kept in safe, clean, and high‐functioning condition.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and cleaning works on civil and building infrastructure to ensure assets are safe and well‐presented for the community.
* Perform minor repairs and non-trade tasks incidental to asset care.
* Safely operate a range of hand and power tools, and heavy mechanical plant (where certified).
* Log maintenance activities and report potential problem areas or hazards via tablet‐based corporate software.
* Adhere to OH&S legislation, ensuring a safe workplace for yourself and the public.
* Assist in emergency maintenance situations during work hours (and after‐hours on a roster basis if required).
Requirements
* Current Victorian Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's License is essential.
* Valid Victorian Traffic Control & Traffic Management certifications.
* Previous experience in civil maintenance, cleaning, or building infrastructure.
* Proficiency with hand/power tools and an understanding of quality control.
* Must be able to start ASAP and commit to the 7:00 AM – 3:05 PM schedule through to June 30th.
* Must be willing to undergo a pre‐employment medical assessment and have a valid Right to Work in Australia.
