Perch'd. is looking for an experienced Chef/Cook with strong baking skills to join our growing kitchen team in Mandurah.
This is a hands-on, high-energy role for someone passionate about seasonal, produce-driven cooking and simple, elevated food. Our menu focuses on quality ingredients, thoughtful technique, and respect for process.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items using fresh, seasonal, locally sourced produce
* Hands-on baking including breads, pastries, and baked menu components
* Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
* Work efficiently during busy service periods in a fast-paced kitchen
* Assist with menu development, specials, and prep planning
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations
* Maintain a clean, organised, and well-structured kitchen

Key Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook
* Proven baking experience in a commercial kitchen
* Strong understanding of ingredient-led cooking and seasonal menus
* High energy, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills
* Team-oriented mindset with strong communication
* High attention to detail and commitment to food safety
