Triage Nurse Role
This role is designed to assist physicians and other medical professionals with patient care, including assessments, education, triage nursing, and more.
* Assist with all aspects of delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
* Patient assessments and monitoring, patient education, and triage nursing (telephonic and in person).
* Coumadin management, operation of equipment, chronic care management, and risk stratifying patients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills, knowledge of computer functionality, and experience with electronic health records. They should also be certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and have skills in patient triage both in person and over the phone.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing exceptional patient care and service
* Assisting physicians and other medical professionals with patient assessments and education
* Managing Coumadin therapy and operating medical equipment
* Risk stratifying patients and developing individualized care plans
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
