Lead Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a leadership role and drive project delivery while managing day-to-day operations.
* Management of a high-performing team (5 members)
* Engagement with internal stakeholders, coordinating between the PMO, clients, and stakeholders across the organization
* Preparation of reports for senior management
* Ensuring adherence to OH&S policies and guidelines
* Ensuring adherence to best practice for capital project delivery
* Team leadership and driving process improvements
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* A Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria (BLA)
* Previous leadership and management experience ideally within a government environment
* Experience in establishing and/or managing a PMO
* Experience managing / leading capital works projects
* A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles, and legislation
* Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
