Job Description
The General Manager Operations role is a key position responsible for the day-to-day operational, administrative, financial and governance functions of an organisation.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and be able to work collaboratively with team members, artistic staff and volunteers.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Committee to deliver the organisation's artistic vision and implement the Strategic Plan.
* Manage relationships with statutory authorities including ensuring compliance, preparing funding applications, business plans and annual reports.
* Lead and manage the admin and events team members and volunteers ensuring respectful, clear communication to enable goals to be met.
