NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
This position is dedicated to delivering high‐quality clinical Social Work Mental Health services to individuals experiencing mental illness or mental disorders. The approach is grounded in principles that are least intrusive, collaborative, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented. It places strong emphasis on family engagement and responsiveness, while integrating evidence‐based interventions that promote self‐advocacy and personal empowerment. The ultimate goal is to support individuals in building the capacity for optimal independent functioning within their community, fostering resilience and long‐term wellbeing.
