The opportunity Delaware North Australia is now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Airports portfolio, based on-site at Melbourne Airport. This senior finance role supports our multi-site airport operations across Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver strong financial performance, governance and commercial insight. Reporting to the Director Commercial Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting decision-making, driving profitability and leading a high-performing regional finance team. What will you do?
* Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities across the Airports portfolio
* Manage month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial results
* Prepare and consolidate P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and forecast reporting
* Provide commercial and contract-level insights to support operational and strategic decisions
* Partner with General Managers and site leadership teams as a trusted financial advisor
* Maintain strong internal controls, inventory management and cash handling compliance
* Oversee capital expenditure accounting and ensure adherence to accounting standards
* Lead, coach, and develop a small regional finance team
* Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency, and risk management
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and finance projects
More About You
* A Bachelor of business or equivalent, as well as CA or CPA qualification
* Proven experience in a senior management accounting or finance role
* Strong people leadership experience, including coaching and developing teams
* Experience driving revenue growth and improving profitability, within hospitality, retail, FMCG
* Excellent financial reporting, forecasting and analytical skills
* Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
* Ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
* Understanding of relevant legislative regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards
