We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic Nurse leader, who drives excellence in patient outcomes and team performance. We are searching for someone who is skilled at working in fast-paced environments, has experience in managing a budget and has a patient safety and quality focus.

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations and lead a team of nurses. In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and developing nursing staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management
2. Ensuring optimal staffing levels to provide safe, high quality patient care
3. Collaborating with VMOs and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
4. Monitoring patient outcomes, satisfaction scores, and safety and quality key performance indicators
5. Managing the nursing department budget and identifying opportunities to control costs
To be successful in this position, candidates must have:
1. Registration with Ahpra as Registered Nurse
2. Previous management experience in a hospital setting
3. Demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
4. Expertise in evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety principles
5. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
