Job description

We are looking for an on-site IT Support Engineer who will join our expanding Asia Pacific Help Desk team to become the central point of contact for providing IT support at our distribution centres in Sydney.

Reporting to the IT Support Manager, APAC, you will give support on SaaS applications, hardware, network, user on & off boarding, training, documentation and numerous IT projects running.

You will…

o Be the main point of contact for all IT related matters in our Sydney warehouses (questions, incidents, requests, on & off boarding) but also provide support to all Asia Pacific users when required.
o Troubleshoot and maintain key production systems such as Zebra or Honeywell printers and barcode scanners.
o Liaise when needed with internal (mainly Fulfilment Centre IT Team) and external (mainly telco providers) stakeholders to troubleshoot software, hardware and connectivity issues.
o Own various end-to-end local IT projects.
o Implement & maintain technical & user documentation.
o Working days: Mondays to Fridays


You have…

o At least 12 months of experience in an IT Help Desk environment (in person support).
o A completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent; additional IT certifications encouraged.
o Vast knowledge of different operating systems (Windows/OSX), cloud technology platforms (Google Workplace, Azure, AWS, Atlassian, Slack...).
o Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms (Jamf, MobiControl…)
o High level of analytical and administrative skills.
o Great communication skills, strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly any new technology coming up.
o Experience in a warehouse or production environment is a great advantage.
o Bonus points if you have knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia

Location: Pemulwuy warehouses (New South Wales) with possible trips to our Sydney headquarters in Chippendale. This role is predominantly on-site.
