Offering breathtaking ocean views, fresh seafood, gourmet burgers, and signature cocktails, Longboard has built a strong reputation as a top destination for locals and visitors alike. Its laid-back atmosphere, regular live music, and diverse menu make it ideal for casual dining, special occasions, and relaxed coastal evenings.

Longboard Bar and Grill is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Restaurant Managers to join its management team in full-time positions. The successful candidates will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day front-of-house operations, managing and mentoring staff, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Strong leadership skills, a hands-on management style, and a passion for hospitality are essential for this role.

These positions offer a competitive salary ranging from 65-80K AUD per annum plus superannuation, with remuneration negotiable based on experience and suitability. About the Role

* Oversee the seamless daily operations of both Front of House (FOH) and

Back of House (BOH) teams, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

* Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and control operational expenses, identifying strategies to meet budget targets and improve profitability.
* Manage all aspects of staffing, including scheduling, performance oversight, and fostering a positive team culture.
* Train and mentor both new and existing staff to uphold service excellence and professionalism.
* Forecast inventory needs and coordinate procurement of goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceeding guest expectations and maintaining a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere.
* Ensure adherence to workplace policies, procedures, and hospitality industry regulations across all departments.
* Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to foster a cohesive, supportive team dynamic between FOH and BOH staff.
* Contribute to menu development and implementation in partnership with the Senior Chef team, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) standards and ensure compliance throughout the venue.
* Compile and present operational reports and performance insights to senior management.
* Exhibit a proactive and driven attitude, with a focus on career growth and contributing to the ongoing success of the restaurant group.

To be considered for this role, candidates should:

* Be willing to relocate if currently based interstate or outside the region
* Be available to work weekends and split shifts as required
* Hold a relevant Diploma qualification with 2–3 years of hospitality experience
* Possess a current RSA certificate
* Demonstrate a strong customer focus and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
* Exhibit excellent personal presentation, organisational, and communication skills
* Lead by example, clearly setting and upholding daily standards of service excellence
