As a Gardener, you'll play an important role in maintaining welcoming and well‐kept outdoor spaces. You'll support the gardening team to deliver high‐quality landscape care while learning practical horticultural skills on the job. Working closely with experienced supervisors, you'll contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive environment. Your work will help create spaces that people can enjoy every day.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with maintaining gardens, including weeding, pruning and mulching
- Supporting planting and replacing shrubs, trees, and seasonal plants
- Following guidance from supervisors to complete tasks safely and efficiently
- Using and caring for gardening tools and equipment responsibly
- Monitoring plant health and reporting any issues or maintenance needs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Qualifications
- A willingness to learn and build practical horticultural skills
- A valid employee working with children's check (or willing to obtain)
- The ability to work collaboratively and follow guidance from your team
- Confidence to carry out hands‐on, physical outdoor work
- A positive attitude and interest in garden maintenance
- Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions
- Qualifcation in Horticulture or a similar field (desirable)
