Key Worker Job Opportunity
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Key Worker, providing interventions to NDIS participants and their families that lead to positive life-changing outcomes.
* Deliver services in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centers.
* Conduct initial appointments with families at their home, utilizing assessment and communication skills to understand their needs and goals.
* Collaborate with preschool teachers to support children in developing motor skills.
* Coach parents in finding suitable schools for their young children.
* Work alongside Speech Pathologists and family members to enhance communication and social skills in children.
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports.
* Document and bill sessions through our online participant management system.
* Provide ongoing support for children after school, helping them establish consistent routines.
* Attend weekly team meetings, sharing stories of impact and best practices.
* Utilize clinical knowledge from Team Leaders and Therapy Mentors to inform practice.
* Engage in online mentoring sessions to build expertise in Assistive Technology and behavioral support strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong assessment and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professionals.
* Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and procedures.
* Experience working with children and families.
* Excellent documentation and time management skills.
