About the role
As the Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support strategic decision-making within the organisation. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance evaluation to enhance business profitability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate management reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- End of month reporting with the completion of journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of statutory returns.
- Project Reconciliation and Debtor Management.
- Continuously improve financial processes and reporting systems.
- Support senior management with financial modelling, cost analysis, and business case development for new initiatives.
- Assist with cash flow management and forecasting, working capital optimization, and financial risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA ANZ or CPA qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, experience with MYOB Acumatica preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modelling techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
