About UsOnline Education Services (OES) is an education provider that partners with universities to provide purposefully designed and highly engaging online programs. This position will be working within OES in association with Swinburne Online.
Swinburne Online delivers world-class learning through degrees specifically designed for the online student. Each degree is tailored to provide opportunities for students who are often unable to undertake university studies on campus.
At Swinburne Online, the student is at the forefront of everything we do. This role is an opportunity to support and guide our students through their learning journey. Our Online Learning Advisers (OLAs) are the subject matter experts who facilitate the student's learning, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals.
Our Online Learning Advisors are motivated by student success and are passionate about the online platform. You will be the facilitator for planned academic content and the first point of contact and support for our online students.
The OLA role is remote, offering flexibility in where and when you work! The expected workload is 4 hours per week per group, with no more than 48 hours between logins. You should be proactive, dependable, and have a remote working environment that enables high-level support to students.
What You Will Do
Our OLAs are responsible for:
Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and learning design team.
Facilitating learning activities that engage and support student learning.
Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) and processing and submitting results according to set timelines.
Online Learning Advisers are not required to establish curriculum, design learning activities, schedule learning and teaching, set assessments, or develop marking schemes.

Candidates Must Also Meet AACSB Requirements
Hold a minimum Postgraduate qualification in Business Management: Sustainability/Environmental or Society and Governance or Indigeneity.
Have at least 3 years of recent industry experience.
Be motivated by student success and passionate about online learning.
Be a clear and passionate communicator.
Possess strong presentation skills and an engaging online presence.
Be proactive and organized.
Thrive in a remote working environment.
