About the Teaching Role
We are seeking dedicated teachers to join our team. The successful applicant will have high expectations, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptive, able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. They will also possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, which will be used to develop and promote the school's values and priorities across the school community.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Teach science and physics to students from Years 7 – 10 as well as ATAR levels
* Establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment
* Use a range of pedagogies and apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching
* Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Build positive relationships with students
Requirements
The successful applicant must hold an eligible teaching qualification and be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
They must also consent to a screening clearance and comply with relevant employment eligibility regulations.
