Overview
We are seeking a full-time Dental Practice Receptionist to join our team at Launceston Dental (7 Dowling St.) and/or Braeside Dental (52 York St.) in Launceston, Tasmania.
As the first point of contact for our valued patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.
What you'll be doing
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and over the phone
* Managing patient bookings and appointments with efficiency and attention to detail
* Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns or questions in a professional and empathetic manner
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
* Assisting with administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and inventory management
* Supporting the dental team by performing various clerical and organizational duties as required
What we\'re looking for
* Prior experience as a receptionist or customer service professional, preferably in a healthcare or dental practice setting (preferred not mandatory)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all backgrounds in a warm and friendly manner
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in using various office software, including appointment scheduling and patient management systems (training will be provided)
* A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
