About the ENT Unit
The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery provides adult and paediatric services across several suburbs. The unit is staffed by 19 consultants, 2 fellows, 4 college‐appointed registrars, 4 unaccredited registrars and 6 support staff.
About the Role
To support and assist the Director of the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery in delivering high‐quality services at Monash Health sites.
* Provide clinical leadership through active involvement in patient care.
* Be available for consultation and liaison with medical colleagues regarding patient care.
* Support academic, research, education, training and supervision (undergraduate and postgraduate) roles.
* Participate in appropriate committees and educational platforms to contribute to the professional life of Victoria's largest public health service.
* Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical and workforce innovation to ensure accessible high‐quality ENT services.
Qualifications
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications, Fellowship of the RACS or equivalent, and Working with Children's Certificate.
* Membership with RACS and ASOHNS.
