The Opportunity The Assistant Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in accelerating the commercial success of our Cloud Services and Data Centre businesses. Working alongside the Hosting Commercial Managers, you’ll be at the heart of driving growth, performance, and strategic impact across a fast-moving, high-growth environment. We’re looking for someone with a hands-on, proactive mindset who thrives on challenge and takes ownership. You’ll combine sharp commercial instincts with a passion for analytics—bringing clarity and insight to budgeting, forecasting, monthly P&L performance, board reporting, and compelling business cases. This is a role for someone who loves turning numbers into meaningful stories and actionable strategy. You’ll be instrumental in shaping decisions, influencing stakeholders across the Hosting Group and the wider business, and driving continuous improvement at every opportunity. Why Us? Required Skills: Significant hands on experience in Financial and/or Commercial roles, within an ICT service provider (or equivalent commercial business) Extensive experience in the preparation and presentations of business cases and proposals to support key business initiatives Demonstrated ability to map multiple disparate data sources into a cohesive and comprehensive analytical model Tertiary Qualifications with a Bachelors Degree in Business/Commerce/Economics/Legal (Essential) Post Graduate qualifications such as MBA and/or CA would be desirable. Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to enable the required outcomes to be achieved in a complex environment of internal and external parties often with conflicting priorities What you will be doing! Assist in facilitating customer acquisition and retention activities by representing commercial confidently with sales teams Support in building financial modelling and providing recommendations on business cases Collaborate on commercial modelling for large complex deals pricing Support Finance in the month end process Manage monthly actual results against budget and forecast, and provide explanations on the variances Help deliver the preparation of budget and forecast for General Managers of assigned stakeholder group Provide input into scenario modelling and analysis on long term business plans (eg. 5-year planning) Participate in preparation for monthly board reporting Ensure developed processes and procedures adhere to business policies If this excites you, apply now, we'd love to hear from you!
