Research Pharmacist Assistant - Practice-Based Research Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team as a research assistant for the PROACTIVE study. This is a prospective study that aims to investigate the effectiveness of active surveillance of penicillin allergy and proactive delabelling by a pharmacist using existing hospital electronic tools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out clinical and research activities for the study, including clinical assessment/intervention and trial research activities. They will also be required to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve the goals of the study.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and knowledge in the use of hospital information systems and provision of clinical or pharmacy services to consumers, carers and families in hospital settings. They will also possess proven ability to work independently and establish effective collaborative working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out clinical assessment/intervention and trial research activities for the PROACTIVE study

Requirements:
* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
* Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the use of hospital information systems and provision of clinical or pharmacy services to consumers, carers and families in hospital settings
* Proven ability to work independently and establish effective collaborative working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team
* Demonstrated ability to undertake clinical research activities and/or quality improvement activities

* Remuneration: $40.61 - $60.10 per hour
