The Opportunity
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team, working in Geelong in a permanent full-time capacity. With a focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday, you will work with a range of clients within the community. Supporting and enabling patients to achieve their goals and ultimately helping them participate in and live their best lives, you will provide services across the following packages and programs:
* Home Care Package clients: supporting clients to remain independent at home, through:
o home assessment, equipment prescription and home modifications.
* Rehab in the home program: focusing on post orthopaedic surgery
* Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries
About you
As a new grad or experienced clinician, you love to make a difference in the lives of Australians. Fully AHPRA registered or Limited Registered (remote level) clinician, ideally (but not essential) you will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a community or Aged Care setting or be willing to learn. As a mobile Occupational Therapist, you will need to be comfortable travelling to our clients located across the Geelong region and as such provide your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel).
