About Our Role
As a Behavioural Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital part in helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions reach their full potential.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to work with a family in Adelaide for 3 sessions per week, providing high-quality therapy in varied settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualised therapy to clients, supporting them in developing essential skills such as communication, social interactions, and emotional regulation.
* Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement, ensuring effective service delivery.
* Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation, promoting a culture of inclusion and respect.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or a related field.
* Experience working with children is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
