We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to join our network in a permanent, full-time or part-time role. For the first 12 months, you will have the unique opportunity to work across both Swan Christian College and Swan Online, before expanding your focus to support broader strategic initiatives across the organization.
As a psychologist, you will be integral to the emotional, mental, and academic wellbeing of our students. You will assess student needs, manage referrals, and collaborate with staff and parents to ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
* Assessment & Support: Conduct educational and psychological assessments, diagnoses, and reporting for children and adolescents. Manage referrals and case collaboration, while providing counseling and wellbeing support.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Learning Enrichment, Wellbeing teams, and external professionals to develop Support Plans, Curriculum Access Plans, and NCCD reviews.
* Case Management: Deliver evidence-based interventions in collaboration with staff, professionals, and parents, focusing on both socio-emotional and learning needs. Provide triage support and direct services to students across K–6 and Swanonline.
* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough records in accordance with duty of care and compliance, ensuring that all support plans and interventions are documented accurately.
* Professional Development: Deliver professional learning sessions for staff to enhance their understanding of student mental health and wellbeing.
Long-Term Focus
* Strategic Initiatives: After the first 12 months, you will transition to a broader role with the organization, contributing to the development of strategies that enhance student wellbeing and learning across the entire network of schools.
* Fostering Student Development: Focus on fostering the emotional, mental, and spiritual development of students. Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape practices that align with the mission and values of the organization, with a particular emphasis on helping students grow in Christ.

* Demonstrates a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church.

* Holds a current Working with Children card, AHPRA registration, and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, meeting all compliance requirements.

* Experience in working in the Education sector.
