Job Description:

The Deputy Principal Administrative Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Deputy Principal (School Operations) office. This position involves coordinating daily operations, strategic goals, and providing effective administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the School.

This role requires proactive and well-executed administrative support, providing timely and accurate diary management, document production, and maintaining effective assistance with the Deputy Principal (School Operations) time management and workflow.

The specialist will have the capability to multitask, change plans easily, and concentrate on multiple events happening in and around their workspace. They must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions from students, colleagues, visitors, and telephone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage competing demands in the Deputy Principal (School Operations) diary to meet organisational and personal goals.
* Screen and prioritise workflow and issues management for the Deputy Principal (School Operations).
* Prepare professional correspondence and documentation according to Wenona style.
* Coordinate logistical, operational, and administrative support requests.
* Manage calendar information and identify potential clashes and conflicts.
* Coordinate whole School events onsite and offsite.
* Coordinate student focused whole school events.
* Problem solve and troubleshoot for members of the School Executive and academic services staff.
* Provide administrative and operational assistance across the School.
* Issue weekly parent correspondence.
* Maintain awareness of contemporary practices in areas relevant to this position.

Requirements:

* Qualifications in Business Administration or similar.
* Minimum 5 years' administration experience, preferably in an educational setting.
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
* Experience with data management system and customer relationship system.
* Current NSW Working with Children Check.
