About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in maintaining and repairing airport plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair various types of airport plant and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality at all times
* Work rotating shifts, including 8-hour shifts on a standard 5-day week, with weekend availability as required
* Effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
* Operate computer software tools and systems, leveraging technical expertise to drive productivity and efficiency
* Possess a valid driver's license and be contactable for reference checks
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified Mechanical Fitter with diverse fitting and basic welding skills, preferably with experience in a similar role
* Commitment to working rotating shifts, including weekends, and being available for on-call duties as needed
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
* Proficient in using computer software tools and systems, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency gains
* Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
